The RoXdon Harmonic
Reactor is a wide range notch filter / harmonic expander which allows you
to create untra-narrow and resonant filtering of your sound. By utilising
the two gain controls you can add various degrees of overdrive and
distortion, with GAIN 1 producing opamp distortion and GAIN 2, FET
distortion. The Harmonic Reactor can also be used as a frequency booster
to produce more high or low boosts for tone manipulation. At moderate
settings, it yields an assortment of stationary 'wah' sounds but you can
also dial in the Bandwidth and Filtering beyond the range of most wahs.
Most of the sounds that can be produced are strongly flavoured and are
great for percussive instruments or low frequency assaults as well as a
guitar of keyboard effect.
